Who we are

Guarantor Insure is a trading name of Third Party Liability Limited ("Guarantor Insure", "we", "our" or "us"). Third Party Liability Limited is registered in England and Wales under company number 08987330 with its registered office at C/O Dfm Associates, One St Peters Road, Maidenhead, Berkshire, SL6 7QU. We are an appointed representative. Our Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) firm reference number is 820193.

The policy is managed and provided by Auto Legal Protection Services Limited (ALPS), which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (Firm Reference Number 300906).

The insurance is underwritten by AmTrust Specialty Limited, which is authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation Authority (Firm Reference Number 202189).

Acceptance of these Terms

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our website. These Terms apply to anyone accessing or using the Guarantor Insure website, including:

  • customers purchasing or applying for insurance;
  • individuals requesting quotations;
  • referral partners registering or using our Partner Portal; and
  • visitors to our website.

By accessing our website or using any of our services, you agree to these Terms together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use our website or services.

Our Services

We operate an online insurance distribution service that enables eligible customers to purchase Guarantor insurance.

We do not provide advice or personal recommendations. It is your responsibility to ensure that any policy you purchase is suitable for your needs.

Before purchasing a policy you should carefully read the Policy Wording and Insurance Product Information Document (IPID). Policies are subject to eligibility, acceptance by the insurer and successful payment. All policy documents will be provided electronically.

Referral Partners

If you register as a Referral Partner, you agree that:

  • the information you provide is accurate and kept up to date;
  • you will only use the Partner Portal for legitimate business purposes;
  • you will keep your login credentials secure;
  • registration does not guarantee acceptance into our Referral Partner Programme; and
  • If approved, your relationship with us will also be governed by a separate Referral Partner Agreement.

We reserve the right to refuse, suspend or terminate Partner Portal access where we reasonably believe these Terms or our Referral Partner Agreement have been breached.

Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring all information you provide to us is accurate, complete and not misleading.

If you provide incorrect or incomplete information, the insurer may amend the terms of your policy, refuse a claim or cancel your insurance in accordance with the Policy Wording.

Where you provide personal information relating to another individual, you confirm that you have their authority to do so.

Payments

The total price payable for your policy will be displayed before you complete your purchase and will include all applicable charges. Payments are processed securely through our authorised payment provider, Stripe.

When you purchase a policy, the payment information you provide, including your debit card, credit card or bank details and billing information, is processed by Stripe on our behalf. Stripe may also retain certain payment information to facilitate refunds and, where applicable, future transactions. We do not store your full payment card details.

All payment information is transmitted securely using encryption. Stripe may collect information about the devices used to access its services to help operate, maintain and improve its systems, including for fraud prevention and security purposes.

If payment is unsuccessful, declined, reversed or otherwise not received, we reserve the right to decline your application or cancel your policy in accordance with the Policy Wording.

Any administration fees charged by us will be disclosed before you complete your purchase.

Electronic Communications

Guarantor Insure operates as an online insurance provider.

By using our website, you agree to receive quotations, policy documentation, notices and other communications electronically. It is your responsibility to ensure your email address remains accurate and to regularly check your inbox, including your spam or junk folder.

Electronic communications satisfy any legal requirement for documents to be provided in writing.

Privacy and Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your personal information and processing it responsibly.

Personal information collected through our website will be processed in accordance with UK data protection legislation and our Privacy Policy.

Your information may be shared with insurers, claims administrators, payment providers, fraud prevention agencies, regulatory bodies and other organisations where necessary to arrange, administer or manage your policy, comply with legal obligations or prevent fraud.

Where you provide us with another person's personal information, you confirm that you have their authority to do so.

Fraud Prevention

To protect our customers and our business, we may carry out identity verification, fraud prevention and sanctions screening checks.

Where we reasonably suspect fraud, attempted fraud or other criminal activity, we reserve the right to refuse an application, suspend or cancel access to our services, decline or cancel a policy where permitted, and report the matter to the appropriate authorities.

Our Responsibility

However, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access and may suspend, restrict or withdraw the website without notice where necessary for maintenance, security, operational or legal reasons.

Financial Services Compensation Scheme
